Cafe Luna is Calling All Artists!

Luna Artist Contest

Dear All

The Ballots are in and the winner is contestant # 3. We had hundreds of voters participate over the past 8 weeks, and our customers have decided. The votes were evenly distributed amongst the 6 contestants, and the winner got about 30% of the total. We had many passionate comments, and it seemed some very difficult choices were being made.

One of the cards had a detailed written reason for their choice. It started by stating the agonizing choice that had to be made between three finalists; and they explained how they made their final decision after two visits, and long deliberations. We enjoyed reading the other comments that complimented us on the good food and the great art. In conclusion, it seems that our customers enjoy the Art as much as the food and service.

I would like to thank all the artists ( Hampton, Heather, Jon Jon, Nataliya, Helen , Cheryl ) for their contributions and for their participation in making our “Artist Niche Contest” a real success. (So, Alfredo Congratulations on the win)

We at Café Luna enjoy being part of the local art scene, and will continue in our tradition of supporting the arts and all local artists. This contest result will be advertised through our email list, the City paper, and the Blade, and the show will continue until our next contest. So Come by and bring your friends to see the show.
